The architectural project of the cultural center we have just been awarded includes a dense and technical program. The smooth integration of the contemporary extension reveals the beauty of the old buildings whose facades are preserved. Lightness, transparency and openings on the outside are the key words of this project with simple architectural vocabulary, inviting residents to appropriate the building easily. To the North, a monumental step welcomes the forecourt. In the South, the extension of the media library on the garden is connected to the existing building on a limited width. The modularity of the different spaces will be the guarantee of a lively and dynamic architetcure.
